Checklists, managed in one place

Feature

New

  • Checklists page — every checklist in one place: create, reorder points, and choose what each point asks for (pass/fail, yes/no, typed answer, number, or amount). Inside Command Center — flip the Board ⇄ Checklists switch in the header.
  • Attach a checklist to specific cars — "All cars" or just the ones you pick. Daily Ops only asks for a checklist on cars it applies to.
  • Per-car toggles on the vehicle page — see which checklists cover a car and switch scoped ones on or off right there.
  • Starter templates — a proven Return checklist and Pre-trip walkaround, one tap to create.

Improved

  • Recording an inspection — the picker shows only checklists that apply to the chosen car, plus the checklist's instructions.

Trips: instant at any size

Improved

Improved

  • The Trips page now answers from the database, not your browser — search, filters, sorting, the status tiles, and the earnings totals are all computed server-side and stay exact whether you have 100 trips or 100,000. The page loads the first 50 instantly and streams more as you scroll, so big fleets stop paying a wait-for-everything tax.
  • Sharper search — searching with commas or symbols ("Austin, TX") now finds what you meant instead of nothing, and vehicles that share a nickname are all included when you filter by it.

One To-Do page, work and personal

Improved

Improved

  • Personal reminders moved into the To-Do page — no more switching tabs. Your private notes-to-self now live in a compact "Personal" section right under the task summary, in every view. Tap + Add, type, hit Enter — pin, check off, and delete work just like before. They're still only visible to you and never show up on Daily Ops or team boards.

Command Center: your day in one line

FeatureImproved

New

  • Day-first headline — the Command Center now opens with the one thing that matters: "3 trips need a driver → Assign now." One tap filters to the unassigned trips and preselects them; pick a driver (or Auto-balance) and the day is staffed in two clicks. When everything's handled, it says so.
  • Maintenance-aware dispatch — trip cards now warn when the car itself needs eyes: a red "Critical issue" chip for open safety-critical issues, "In shop" when the vehicle is down, and "Service due" when it's overdue for service — so nobody sends a guest out in a car that belongs at the shop. The same chips appear on Daily Ops cards and its Focus player too, so the warning follows the car everywhere work gets dispatched.

Improved

  • Lighter controls — the five big count tiles are now compact color-coded filter chips, and the time window (24/48/72h) is a small dropdown that sticks in the URL like the other filters.
  • Command Center on your phone — Workload and the Activity log open as bottom sheets from the toolbar instead of hiding at the bottom of the page, and quick-log shortcuts now respect each role's permissions.
  • Search-first pickers — the staff filter and bulk-assign menus are type-to-search comboboxes now, and the staff-reminder dialog opens as a proper bottom sheet on phones.

A cleaner Maintenance page that never misses an oil change

FeatureImprovedFixed

New

  • Maintenance Overview — the page now opens on an at-a-glance board: overdue service, what's due soon, open issues, vehicles in the shop, and repair costs, with the full service-due list (progress bars included) front and center instead of buried in a tab.
  • Per-item inspection photos — recording an inspection now takes a photo on each checklist point: snap the oil on the oil check, the windshield on the windshield check. Checklist points marked "photo required" prompt for one, and tapping a past inspection shows every result with its photos.
  • Fleet-wide inspection log — the Inspections tab lists recent inspections across the whole fleet and records new ones from right there (with a vehicle picker), not just from inside a vehicle.

Improved

  • Seven tabs down to four — Overview, Issues, Vehicles, Inspections. Issue queue and Table merged into one Issues view with a Cards ⇄ Table toggle; In-shop became a filter chip; Costs and Upcoming live on the Overview. Old links keep working.
  • Smarter mileage — service reminders now use your fleet's best known mileage from every source (trip distances, check-in/check-out odometer readings, service logs, manual corrections, GPS), so a missing odometer entry can't hide an overdue oil change.

Fixed

  • Dashboard and Maintenance now agree on what's overdue — the two pages used different mileage sources, so a vehicle could read overdue on one and fine on the other. One shared rule now drives both.

The Focus Board, Stripe payouts, and a scheduled-texts hub

FeatureImprovedFixed

New

  • Focus Board on Daily Ops — a one-stop-at-a-time view for run-the-day mode, inspired by a route planner: today's check-outs, check-ins, and tasks in order, one big card each. Swipe right (or tap) to mark done and advance, swipe left to skip, add a quick note without leaving the flow, jump to the odometer, and undo anything. Toggle Board ⇄ Focus at the top of Daily Ops — your choice sticks.
  • Payouts — pay investors and staff their share straight from MyFleetOS. Link your bank once, send itemized per-vehicle distributions (management fee and memo included), and Stripe moves the money. Everyone gets a branded statement, and failed payouts can be retried.
  • Get Paid — investors and staff connect their own bank in a couple of minutes via a secure Stripe page; invite them by push or email right from their profile.
  • Investor Payouts report — who's owed what across the fleet: lifetime net payout, settlements logged, and outstanding balance per investor, plus one-click emailed statements and a by-vehicle management view.
  • Scheduled messages hub — every queued text across all conversations in one list. Edit the message, reschedule, send now, or cancel — and see exactly what your automations are about to send.
  • Booking Activity report — new bookings and warning emails from your synced Turo inbox, bucketed by today / yesterday / this week / this month with earnings totals.
  • All-time Turo email backfill — pull in your entire Turo email history, not just the last year. Guests are created from emails too, so photos and phone numbers attach even on email-only trips.
  • Bulk "Complete setup" — finish every incomplete vehicle in one pass, with a per-car "Fill from first trip" that auto-fills the starting odometer, listed date, and cover photo.
  • Toll-free texting — a second texting option for guest SMS, no extra app required.
  • Prep reminders — staff get a heads-up before their check-ins and check-outs (configurable, one hour by default).

Improved

  • Tasks, redesigned — grouped views, a cleaner editor, attachments, recurrence that works everywhere, "Ignore for now" instead of fiddly snoozing, and undo for completed tasks.
  • Command Center — Focus mode assigns trips one at a time so nothing gets skipped, push tasks to staff from the list, nudge reminder buttons, and a per-person "Assignable" toggle to curate who shows up in assignment pickers.
  • Imports at any size — Turo imports are ~8x faster and split themselves into batches, so even the biggest trip histories import cleanly.
  • Rename your fleet, automatically — generate consistent vehicle display names from reorderable pieces (year, make, model, Turo name…), fleet-wide.
  • Maintenance — vehicle photos on issue cards, and damage claims can be created and edited right from the maintenance modal.
  • Light mode — a full legibility pass so every badge, date picker, and amber warning reads clearly.
  • Fewer ugly popups — ~78 browser confirm boxes replaced with on-brand dialogs, plus smoother keyboard and screen-reader behavior across modals.
  • Faster on your phone — a 62% smaller startup bundle, quicker cold starts, and the app now waits until it's actually ready before accepting taps.
  • Account security — rate limiting on sensitive actions, stronger browser security headers, and clearer subscription renewal disclosure.

Fixed

  • Odometer typo protection — physically impossible trip distances (a mistyped odometer reading) are rejected so your mileage stats stay sane.
  • Large-fleet accuracy — P&L and reports now read every row for fleets with tens of thousands of trips; nothing silently drops off.
  • Plate conflicts — imports no longer skip vehicles that share a plate, and trip counts are consistent (completed-only) everywhere.
  • iPhone receipts — HEIC photo receipts now display in every browser.
  • Email inbox count — the inbox shows your real Gmail total instead of an estimate.
  • No more black screens — deploys can't strand you on a stale cached version; a watchdog recovers the app automatically.
  • False "Start overdue" — trips you've already checked in stop nagging after their pickup window passes.

A big June: Command Center, investor portal, guided onboarding, and a bold new look

FeatureImprovedFixed

New

  • Command Center — a single hub to assign and dispatch drivers: a kanban board, auto-assign and bulk-assign, prep tasks (clean / gas / move), and a live activity feed.
  • Mechanic & maintenance portal — assign work to a mechanic, staffer, or outside shop, and record inspections with photo and video capture.
  • Universal search (⌘K) — jump to any vehicle or screen instantly from anywhere in the app.
  • Smarter driver workflow — two-phase trip completion, prep checklists, and an offline action queue so check-ins and check-outs save even with no signal.
  • Import History — one log of every import (Turo, auto-sync, trips, expenses, deliveries) with row-by-row drill-down.
  • Storage & Video Inspections — track storage usage with optional paid packs, plus a Video Inspections add-on ($24/mo). Photos are always free.
  • Team & access hub — control which staff can see and manage scheduling, person by person.
  • Investor portal — investors get their own scoped login with per-vehicle reporting, payout tracking, and statement emails.
  • Guided signup & Welcome Guide — a new multi-step signup with email verification, then a post-signup walkthrough (with a sample-receipt AI demo) to set up your first car fast.
  • Claims linked to trips & customers — attach a trip or guest to a damage claim and it auto-pulls the car, renter, and related messages; link the matching maintenance issue too.
  • Request a call — book time with the team right inside the app.

Improved

  • Command Center, at a glance — the board now opens with status tiles (needs attention, overdue, unassigned, done) and lean cards you read in one pass. Tap a card to assign or open its details in place, hand a driver a trip in one tap, or select several and bulk-assign — with an Auto option that spreads them across your least-busy staff. Finished trips tuck into a collapsible Done section, and the Tasks tab now uses the same clean cards.
  • A bold new look — a refreshed true-black and ops-blue design across the app and website, with a unified top navigation.
  • Daily Ops — calmer trip cards, a "Mark done" button on every card, one-tap "Report issue," and a "preview a staffer's day" selector for managers.
  • Financials — one consistent earnings formula end-to-end for more accurate per-vehicle profit, plus mobile and accessibility polish.
  • Getting Started — onboarding checklist steps now deep-link straight into the screen or modal you need.
  • Reliability — a crash on one page no longer takes down the whole app; the navigation stays alive.
  • Messages — faster inbox refresh with a manual Refresh button.
  • Daily Ops, leaner — trip cards show just the essentials at a glance (admins choose which), with full detail one tap away, plus the pickup/return time on every card.
  • Maintenance dial-in — claim-cost tracking, a Fleet view, favorite shops with inline add, multi-select issue categories, and a Costs CSV export.
  • Vehicles — edit and lock Turo-sourced fields (year, make, model, nickname, plate).
  • Clearer staff reminders — nudges now say exactly what's needed: check out, deliver, or pick up.
  • Accessibility & privacy — a WCAG 2.2 AA pass with a published accessibility statement and refreshed privacy and terms.
  • Tighter file security — receipts, documents, and claim photos are now stored privately with signed links.
  • Role permissions — hide "View Trip Details" from specific staff roles.

Fixed

  • No more false “overdue” — when Turo shows a car as picked up, the Command Center, Daily Ops, and your automatic overdue reminders clear that hand-off on their own instead of nagging you to “mark done.”
  • Login — show/hide password toggle on sign-in and sign-up.
  • Mobile polish — scrollable command palette, tap-to-open email reader, and header-overlap fixes on Messages and Daily Ops.
  • Onboarding — replay the Welcome Guide anytime; floating widgets no longer hide behind vehicle setup.
  • Reset — resetting an account no longer reseeds demo data for real fleets.
  • Billing & tables — the trial banner's "Subscribe Now" lands on the plans page; wide money and logbook tables scroll instead of clipping on mobile.

How it started

MyFleetOS started in late 2025 with one goal: replace the spreadsheet for Turo hosts. The first version had vehicles, trips, expenses, and a CSV importer. Within three months we had an investor portal, daily ops, and the first paying customers.
