Built by a Turo host, for Turo hosts.

Nick Jaime · Founder, OTL Rental LLC · DFW, TX · 25+ car Turo fleet

MyFleetOS isn’t a software company that decided to make a tool for Turo hosts. It’s a Turo fleet that built the software it needed, after running out of patience with spreadsheets, group texts and dashboards that don’t say what’s actually happening.

How it started

The fleet came first.

  1. Car 1

    A Google Sheet

OTL Rental starts on Turo with one car. Everything lives in a spreadsheet, and it works.

  2. Car 5

    It stops working

Two missed check-ins, a lost oil change, and no clear answer on whether the business makes money.

  3. The search

    Nothing fits Turo

Airtable, an Etsy template, two general fleet tools. None of them imports Turo properly.

  4. The build

    MyFleetOS

First for OTL. Then Nick’s dad’s cars. Then a friend with 8 cars became the first paying customer.

  5. Today

    25+ cars

OTL Rental runs on MyFleetOS every day, in the same app you’d use.

In Nick’s words

I started OTL Rental on Turo with one car. Like every host, I tracked everything in Google Sheets. It worked. Then I added a second car. Still worked. By car five, I’d missed two check-ins, lost track of which car needed an oil change, and couldn’t tell my wife whether the business was actually profitable.

I tried Airtable. I tried buying a “fleet template” off Etsy. I tried two general fleet management tools built for car rental franchises. They didn’t understand Turo, didn’t import the data correctly, and didn’t have the daily ops view a real fleet needs.

So I built MyFleetOS. First just for me. Then for my dad’s cars on the same Turo account. Then for a friend who was running 8 cars and willing to be the first paying customer.

OTL Rental now runs 25+ cars on the platform we built. Same dashboard you’d use as a customer, same daily ops view, same investor portal. We use it every day.

What we believe.

  • Daily ops before analytics

The most useful screen in any fleet tool answers “what needs to happen today?” Not last quarter’s revenue chart.

  • Profit, not earnings

Turo shows earnings. We show profit: net of fees, loans, insurance, cleaning, claims and ownership splits.

  • Phone first

You don’t run a fleet from a desk. Every feature is built to work on your phone first.

  • Your data is yours

Export expenses, P&L, maintenance and investor statements as CSV any time. No other operator can ever see your data.

What we’re building toward

Most fleet software tells you what happened. MyFleetOS is meant to do the work:

  • Catch swap conflicts before they happen
  • Schedule cleanings from trip end times
  • Flag maintenance before it becomes a damage claim
  • Plan the day’s route around staff and drive times
  • Draft the investor reports it already has the data for

The MyFleetOS Assistant, on every plan, already handles a good share of the daily ops work. The rest is a roadmap, not a wishlist.

Still small, on purpose

One founder. Owner-operated. No venture money. I answer every support email myself, read every feature request, and every bug report goes straight into my Linear. If MyFleetOS doesn’t work for you, you’ll get a refund and an honest conversation about why.

Wondering if it fits your fleet? It’s built for hosts of every size, even your first car. I started with one and wish I’d run it this way from day one, instead of bolting it on at car five.
